  • A regular joint meeting of the City Council of the City of Coleman, Texas and the City of Coleman, Texas 4-A Economic Development Corporation will be held on Thursday, February 02, 2012 at 6:00 P.M. The following subjects will be considered by the City Council and may be considered in any order that is most convenient. Only Items No. II., IX, XI, and XX will be considered by the 4A Economic Development Corporation.

      • The City Council will consider approval of the minutes from the regular meeting held on January 19, 2012. The City Council may take any action to approve the minutes as written or to make any necessary corrections.

      Recognition of the Employee of the month for the month of January 2012 - Mayor Carolyn Merriman.
    8. HEARING OF VISITORS CONCERNING MATTERS NOT ON AGENDA: (Visitors shall be limited to no more than (5) five minutes to address the Council. Council Members may not respond to visitors making statements but may authorize the City Manager to place any item on the agenda for a future meeting for discussion and or action.)

      2. THE CITY COUNCIL MAY CONSIDER, DISCUSS AND OR TAKE ACTIONS REGARDING THE APPROVAL OF AN ORDER CALLING FOR AN ELECTION FOR MAY 12, 2012 TO ELECT CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS FOR THE NORTH WARD AND THE SOUTH WARD.
      3. THE CITY COUNCIL MAY CONSIDER, DISCUSS AND OR TAKE ACTIONS REGARDING THE APPROVAL OF AN ORDER TO CALL A SPECIAL ELECTION TO FILL THE UNEXPIRED TERM IN THE WEST WARD.

      5. THE CITY COUNCIL MAY CONSIDER, DISUCSS AND OR TAKE ACTIONS REGARDING THE POSSIBLE APPROVAL OF A CONTRACT FOR CONDUCTING ELECTIONS FOR THE CITY OF COLEMAN, THE COLEMAN COUNTY MEDICAL CENTER AND THE COLEMAN INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT.
