The City of Coleman is currently seeking a full time, seasonal position for the position of Swimming Pool Manager. The primary work of the Pool Manager will consists of the oversight of all pool operations under the direction of the Parks and Recreation Director. Prefer applicants with a high school degree or an equivalent and a minimum of a Class C valid Texas Driver‚€™s License. These positions will require working with the general public, the Ace Program and supervising the activities of the life guards and concession stand. Working conditions will require outside work during the summer season.

The primary work of the Lifeguards will consists of providing lifeguard services for all ages of individuals who may attend the City Pool and shall serve under the direction of the Pool Manager. Prefer applicants with a high school degree or an equivalent and a minimum of a Class C valid Texas Driver‚€™s License; however these conditions can be waived depending on other qualifications. These positions will require working with the general public, the Ace Program and supervising the activities of the general public. Working conditions will require outside work during the summer season. A Red Cross Life Guard Training Certificate is required.

The primary work consists of assistance in keeping the City Cemetery mowed, weed-eating and overall general maintenance work. Prefer applicants with a high school degree or an equivalent and a minimum of a Class C valid Texas Driver‚€™s License. These positions will require working with lawn mowers and weed eaters and therefore the successful candidates must be at least 18 years of age to meet the minimum requirements of the provisions of the Child Labor Laws under the Fair Labor Standards Act. Working conditions will require outside work during the summer season.
