Police Officer

The City of Coleman is seeking applications for a full-time position for Police Officer. The successful candidate must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid current law enforcement license issued by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement. Electrical Groundsman

The City of Coleman is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Electrical Groundsman for the Lights Distribution Department. Candidates should have electrical experience as well as previous experience working on line and with crews. Must have a CDL Class "B" License or be able to obtain one within the required time frame of 3 months. The salary for the position ranges from $12 to $15, dependent upon experience and qualification. Cemetery Grounds Keeper / Maintenance Worker

The City of Coleman is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Grounds Keeper and General Maintenance Worker at the City Cemetery. Candidates should have a Class C Texas Drivers License. Preference will be given to candidates with extended experience in operating commercial lawn mowers and weed eaters. Seasonal Cemetery Worker

The City of Coleman is currently seeking seasonal positions for the Cemetery. The primary work consists of assistance in mowing, weed-eating, and the overall general maintenance work of the City Cemetery. Prefer applicants with a high school degree or an equivalent with a minimum of a Class “C” valid Texas Driver’s License. These positions will require working with lawn mowers and weed eaters; therefore, the successful candidates must be at least 18 years of age to meet the minimum requirements of the provisions of the Child Labor Laws under the Fair Labor Standards Act. Working conditions will require outside work during the summer season.
